UAE : Khalifa pledge on citizens’ welfare

Abu Dhabi, June 30: The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, assured citizens of his determination to continue to provide them with best possible living conditions. Shaikh Khalifa made the pledge while receiving a group of citizens at Al Rawdha in Al Ain. The President got acquainted with the people's living conditions and explored their further requirements as part of his keenness to ensure the welfare of the country and its citizens.

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, receiving citizens at Al Rawdha Palace in Al Ain on Wednesday.

The group of citizens said they were pleased with meeting the President and wished him good health. During the meeting, poets recited poems in praise of his prudent leadership as well as the achievements, prosperity and progress the UAE has been witnessing under his rule.

Earlier, the President received His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The meeting was attended by Ajman Crown Prince Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, other Shaikhs, ministers and senior officials.
