Audit of L’Union Estate
A recent audit of State-owned L’Union Estate Company by the auditors of the Internal Audit Division of the Ministry of Finance Trade and Investment (MOFTI) has uncovered several irregularities, including financial ones.
Following that, the Ministry of Finance Trade and Investment has submitted the case to the Attorney General’s Office (AGO). The AGO will assess the case and its findings to determine if there are grounds for action against any of the persons implicated in the Audit findings.
In view of the above the MOFTI has recommended to the President the appointment of a new Board of Directors. An announcement from the President’s Office to this effect will be made shortly.
In order not to compromise any further investigation or action that the AGO may decide to undertake, the MOFTI will not entertain any questions or discussions on this matter until further directed or authorized to do so by the AGO.

ReplyDeleteIn PP criminal gang many members,benefitors,apologists etc...are relatives.Danny /Barry FAURE,RAM Sr/RAM Jr, and so on.Investigation willprovide us answer to your last question.However,if the Board did not know LUCAS^` criminal activitiy ,it seems that on other hand it has no mechanism in place to detect and avoid such practices and that in regard to the kinds of bsusiness UNION practices.

I live on La Digue and know that Union Estae had audits done every year by Mr Jean Marie Moutia. Why did his company not raise the alarm? Maybe it is time all those corrupt offshore companies and audit companies are shut down. They are the ones giving our Paradise a bad name.
ReplyDeleteMOUTIA did not re-act for he is part of the machine of corruption in place.Seychellois do not just want to see those companies shut down,but want to see those crooks like LUCAS being punished for their criminal activites.Closing the comapanies only ,would change nothings at all ,for the same crooks if not punished would just open a new company under a new name and re-start their illegal and lucrative deals again.
