The Butcher and his ilks thought that by importing foreigners to take the jobs of Seychellois they could abuse ,used and treat those ofreigners as they wished and should any of those foreigners dislike PP's thuggish practices ,Pp can simply can rid of them, doported them and things would be settle and lweft into the unknown. But The butcher Seychelles-Chief of thieves seems to be hoisted by his own petard.
What goes around ,come around Michel.

Whilst in the employ of Coral Strand, Seychelles, Mr.Lawreance Wells has conducted himself with dignity and professionalism. His colleagues and the people he trained spoke highly of his contributions to the Seychelles. The staff believe he has been badly treated by the management at Coral Strand, the Ministry of Employment and whatever union we deem to have in the Seychelles. The current situation of the Chinese labour force saying that they have not been paid for 2 years; the recent similar situation with the Indian labour force speak for the lack of concern of the Ministry of Employment when situations like Mr. Wells has experienced. It is a shame. Although we claim to have signed to such conventions, like International Labour Organisation, Human Rights etc.. workers are being exploited. Mr. Wells predicamment is evidence to that. The lack of reports which Seychelles have accepted to submit concerning human rights etc.. are not being met. In the past we have witenessed ho unhelpful the Minstry of Employment has been towards several Sri Lankan, Philipinno employees. They claim to have a jutice system, but no investigations into various unlawful killings and disppearnces are ever undertaken. The current Finance Minister claims to have uncovered that so much money are unaccounted for in various Government departments.. Well done. But has been done to recover these amounts?? Nothing, that we are aware of. The Government, I believe, has signed a protocol so that countries do not poach other countries manpower, such as teachers, nurses, midwives. What does the President do?? He goes to Sri Lanka to discuss precisely what he is not supposed to do. Once these employees are in the Seychelles, we treat them bably as is the case with Mr. Wells. Seychellois workers who get into difficulties with their contract of employment usually give the fight - for fear of intimidation and punishment. We should value Mr. Wells stance that he is a man of priciples. He has been badly treated, passport confiscated, his life threatened, loss of earning. We should salute him and hope he gets justice. Fellow workers in the Seychelles should follow his example.
Win or lose his case, Mr. Wells situation shows what Seychelles really is. It may deemed to be a 'paradise' but it is hell for those who seek justice. Best Wishes to Mr. Wells and to the name of Seychelles.

Seychelles is fake, not what you see is what you get! The show goes on every day with visitors and Seychellois alike. They certainly have incentives to be there, being mellowed with music, feted at banquets and tantalized with the prospect of preferential deals. Seychelles is not another world, it is only a mirage!

J R Mancham in his letter to the editor said that"Seychelles must exploit its blue economy.Well Mancham is explioting our blue economy means being milatry targets in the fight of super powers that is not exploiting our blue economy but being Kamikaze in the name of other. For Seychellois exploiting our blue economy means fih our tuna ourselves that we can pocket 3 billions dollars that now goes into the pockets of foreign tuna siners.Exploiting other rwsources like Prawns fishing etc.. to maximize our revenues from the exploitation of our EZZ thus producing jobs to Seychellois,It means developong our outter islands by building hotels(Maldives)to develop our tourism industry. It means protecting our ezz from illegal fishing by Iranian,Thai,Chinese etcc.. that are now robbing our fish without worry for PP doe not stop them.
And the last question to Mancham who approve all those PP accord?Did the people of Seychelles were ever consulted ?

For the last thrity -five years Pp has allowed our ezz TO BE EXPLOITED foreigners making thme billion indollars while we pocket peanuts. It is an African symdrom .Instead of developing our own seiners ,control our resources, exploit its potential fully which would in retrun bring in billion of dollars,Pp sell out everything to foreigners. After allowing Mauritius to benefit from our resources for Pp has not taken the right action in thirty years soon Sri Lanakn fihermen would be robbing our natural resources to.Note also there are many illegal fishing boats from Iran,Thaiwan,China,Sri lanka.Maldives,Japenese etc.. already fishing illegally in our waters without fear. For they know Seychelles has an incompetent regime unable to control its EZZ effectively and nothing have been ready undertaken to solve the problem.Which again a lost of million of dollars for our country.

Time to get rid of Pp monkeys .

WHO NEEDS SEINERS WHEN WE CAN BUY MULTIPLE SUPER-TANKER TO BE USED OVERSEAS AND KEEP THE GAINS AWAY FROM THE SESELWA.

Yet another case of the inept, crooked government and, may I add, the very crooked legal system (been there lost everything) that exists.

Isn't it about time you monkeys voted for a real political party and stopped accepting bribes from the corrupt people that rob you after they gain power?

It's not you that gains - it's them.

For fuck's sake - this has been going on for countless years now. Stop, look and think before you defend this corruption.

Seiners will make PP pocket multi-milllion of dollars for it is a very lucrative business expensive as gold mining,etc..41 foreign seiners fishing in our EZZ.Last year their net revenues even in a globe financial crisis where demand is lower, they made 3 billion EURO.Note, that there are lots of other products we can produce with Tuna also as lucrative as canning.

Ppshould not had bought Tankers for Adams in the first place for we donot produce oil yet,but seiners to exploit what we have already.Taking into consideration the revenues generated by foreign seiners and taking in to consideration the among of decades they been exploiting our resources, should PP monkeys had developed our fishing industry ,today we would not have suffered this economic shit created by pp illiterates.

But you're right-Oil revenues generated by SEPEC through the last three decades-was all robbed by Guy Adams-now laundered some of those millions into a five star hotel at Port launay.

IDC-with Glenny savy the same as ,So did David Savy at Air Seychelles. But the robbery continues.60 percent of our tuna catch are processed in Muartuis.By doing so,we do not have control of what is going on with revenues made by the 60 percent processed in Mauritius but knowing Pp thuggish regime one can say the money is being robbed by PP and clans.
