John Desaubin Moves to sue People news paper for Defamatory Article untitled "It is high time something was made of "le marinier"

People newspaper in a move to protect the decision of Colonel André Ciseau of the Seychelles Port and Marine authority, went as far as to defame the character of MR. John Desaubin the former lessor of “le marinier”a case still in front of the Seychelles Supreme Court.

Mr. Desaubin says that he intends to fight his case to the last drop of his sweat if he has too; as he was wronged by colonel Ciseau for egotistical and ciseau's personal reasons in letting power get to him, just like James Michel said to the last MNA's before putting almost each and every one of them out of commission. John whom is well known to have had only a small radio in his working place being concerned with the local news of the country, is accused in the article for blasting loud music and offending or disturbing the peace and tranquility of passengers making way to and from ferry's at the jetty.

"As funny as it may sound people Newspaper must really have their journalist working on the other side of a phone line to write such an article!! We all know how busy it get's at the jetty with vessels to and from, conveying materials to and across our islands. Even the horn of cat Coco’s announcing it's departure is another and at the last entry of Cat Coco's parked vehicles with eople drinking alcohol and blasting loud music. The smell of the boilers from IOT emitting as far as town is also what this journalist would consider Le Marinier a place for tourist and local travellers to get peace and tranquility; even to the point of comparing these to a two to five what speaker radio which Mr.Desaubin was sometimes seen slapping it after working hours to pick up a signal.

Mr. Desaubin whom had previously submitted plans to expand and renew “le Marinier” which was never entertained by the authorities concern, is also being accused of not keeping the place in ship shape, and to say more they claimed it was a gold mine for him while they never gave him permission to developand expand.

Just as the plantation club was taken and given to Arabs, as small as “le Marinier” may be John is a freedom loving seychellois prepared to go all the way for justice.The only thing wrong with this picture is that the People Newspaper found it proper and lawful for the forceful removal of Mr. John Desaubin at “le Marinier”, but we are in a democracy they often publish.

John has been defamed and may suffer loads of clientele loss as he intends to stay in the same field and business. To people if they hear of John's venturing in the business or after winning his case of le marinier ilegal take over and continues. They will be repelled by people's article calling Mr. Desaubin a loud man with his music and inadequate service with iresponsible workers and understaffed even a lessor would refrain from lessing a place to such character as portrait by the People Newspaper. Mr. Desaubin is not Air Seychelles nor is he Intelvision he deserves his right to do his business in peace and tranquility and let the law take it's course if or where things are done wrong.
