IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME

IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME

 http://www.mixcloud.com/SeychellesRealityBroadcast/charita-anonymous-cd-recording-of-inocent-account/

Seychelles Freedom Party (SFP) has learnt that the case of a drug seizure that a boat known as Charita belonging to proprietor George Michel a well known business man was boarded by the
National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA) in the midst of transporting illegal drugs to Seychelles.

(See Link: http://www.nation.sc/index.php?art=29798). The NDEA disclosed that this raid was based on a tip off by an Informant.

NDEA disclosed to the press that fishing vessel carried Scr. 50 Million in drugs, salted sea turtle meat, salted fish, bar-barra in vast amount as well as AK 47's and ammunition the quantity was not dislosed.

The sea produts were caught at sea as per a recording received by the Seychelles Freedom Party (SFP) by an envelope with a compact disc under our office door at Docklands, New Port, Seychelles.

The recording is a male speaking to a female.

The clarity leaves much to be desired.

In the recording if closely and carefully listened too, describes a man's ordeal on the boat. It suggest that the fellow was just at the wrong place... at the wrong time. The man states that he was approached by boat owner George Michel to conduct fish salting duty on an island where he was dropped off and later picked up by "Charita" with a companion from the island directing towards Mahe
Island on "Charita".

According to his account of the event which cross references with the Seychelles Maritime Authority (SMA) in relation to rules and regulations at sea his story would pass as credible to any reasonable person.

The man claims that there was an incident where the AK 47 wielded by one of the crew members was pointed at his companion from the island later he faced down a gun barrel, forcing them both to do things that were not within the parameters of the law under Duress.

The story seems to suggest that the captain had already stocked his content of illicit drugs and guns on the vessel from point of orgin of departure in Madagasar prior to collecting the two individuals on the island in Seychelles territory.
Implicit with duties of a Captain, he held the responsibility with full knowledge of the cargo content
held in the hull / Bulk. As the saying goes, the Captain goes down with his ship. SFP would like to know who financed suh a large cache of drugs destined for Seychelles. These culprits along with the Captain are the real culprits. The crew are just small fish in this case. NDEA and FIU can do better then that.

Until today the Seychelles Freedom Party (SFP) is using our Journalism mandate to investigate this case and keep every one straight on the up and up. We will attend court hearings and mentions, to keep the Public abreats of a case of high public interest.
Today, on the last mention, Seychelles Police detained our reporter and photograper and prevented us from taking photos at the steps of the court house. This is an area of Public Domain. We had to seek intervention of the Chief Jusitce, to allow us to go free and do our work. SFP suspects numerous high profile political personalities, are behind the financing of this drug cache of Scr. 50 Million, unless of course, NDEA is misrepresenting key material facts in the seizure: "the real/actual market value of the seizure".

We advise SI Belle at Central Police Headquarters, that he has no jurisdiction over the court grounds of Seychelles to prevent a journalist from seeking and obtaining information on any case in the Public interest. Should we be prevented from taking photos in the future, we will seek relief by cause of action and further intervention by the Chief Jusitce.

Attorney Nichole Gabriel which is also on the panel of the Seychelles Human Rights Commission was replaced by Attorney Mrs. Alexia Amsbery in the court mention by his client’s request as his client felt he was not too devoted to work in proving his innocence and barely visiting nor investigating the veractiy of his claims.

Many of the persons charged had previously complained that the Human Charter is not being properly respected at the Central Police Station in regards to the conditions of detention, where they sleep is a concrete floor with no mattress, the food conditions is sub-human standard, fit for consumption only by animals.

Some Remandees have requested to be sent to serve Remand at Montagne Possee except for one
individual that was agreed by the courts to be placed at Baie Lazare station in custody. We have not verified the name of this Remandee, and he may have been sent to Central. For his safety, we ask bloggers to confirm his location of detention.

We would normally have contacted the Seychelles Human Rights Commission in this matter. However, given that the Commission still has lawyer and offsahore specialist exposed by Aljazeera last month on the Commission, we do not trust the Commission's integrity. We ask the PL regime to remove Mr. Lucas on this Board and replace him with a person of high integrity at the soonest time possible. We note Mr. Lucas is still practicing law, and no action has been taken by the Seychelles Bar against him.

Another Two (2) arrests were made in relation to the drug seizureon the same boat and this time remanding for Two (2) weeks. Names have not been released by the NDEA.

It is improper police procedure to not release names of individuals arrested. We call on the NDEA to make Public the names of the persons arrested.

This will allow us to best do our work to insure their safety and insure that law and order is respected by the State, the justice system, and the accused.

The legal representation of both arrested is Mr. Anthony Juliette and names of arrested still to come but no secret. Juliette is a famous criminal lawyer, who has been highly successful in freeing accused persons in the past. NDEA will be up to a game with Juliette.
This case until today is ongoing in circles in the Seychelles Supreme Court in front of justice Burhan and the named Remand-ees keeps piling up.We are waiting to see if the total named Remand-ees will add up to Scr. 50 Million in drugs, or if the NDEA was pulling our leg to pass a Scr.49 Million Budget all along to just have a good time off our backs.

Can somebody translate the following paragraph in to English please.

According to his account of the event which cross references with the maritime authority in relation to rules and regulations at sea his story would pass as very credible to any sane individual. The gentleman claims that there was an issue where the AK 47 wielded by one of the crew members was pointed at his companion from the island later him, forcing them to do things that were not within the parameters of the law under duress. The story goes further to suggest that the captain had already stocked his content on the vessel from origin of destination prior to collecting the two individuals; and only he held the responsibility with knowledge of the cargo content held in the hull / Bulk as well as the passenger manifest as is the case in any transaction by any commercial vessel’s at sea especially enhanced in these times of Somali piracy attacks

Couldn't agree more. I don't know what makes this man thinks he knows how to write. He might have a good story to report but I prefer not to read because I don't know how to translate. Chris please translate after JP so you can get our feedback. Although Michel writes just as bad or maybe worst than JP but Michel however has someone to write for him so he is spared of the humiliation. So let us forgive JP as well. Hopefully one day he will be an elected official and will be able to afford a secretary.

Yet again we are going around with a begging bolw. It seems that, although the government claim we are doing very well..then, wher is the money? How come most essential thing we need to survive have to be obtained from charities? Shameful to be a Seychellois. The hospital diagnostic centre belongs to Kalifa, the houses at Ile Preserverance belongs to Khalifa. The houses in Roche Caman belongs to the Chinese, as indeed our own National Assembly. Bus stations belong to the Indian Club. The SPDF begs for even basic rope supply from the Indian Army. Now we aare being given a plane by the Indians. School children are given charity by way of pens, pencils etc.. by??? Can somebody draw out a list of all those charities we have received?? We should not be running our country based on charities. It is similar to your legitimate wife and children being dependent upon the charities of the wife's lover/s.
Shameful - Are we to accept this??
Surely we must not complain when our youngsters down town beg for a few Rupees. They learn from their government.

They are very quick to pass the begging bowl around. Millions rupees were allocated to political parties in the budget for PL and PDM. All that money should go into the disaster fund.

Oh Yes! Seychelles sa! We milked them when we had the Tsunami. We played them for so long with the Somali Pirates. Now we shall squeeze IMF and other Creditors for more delay in repaying our debts which is due this year! Flood disaster is a blessing in disguise for money-sharks! Allez Seychelles!

Read this article my brothers and sisters. Windturbine came crashing down. This will happen to us one of these days. Courtesy of Khalifa and James Michel.

The article shows,Drug trafficking, arm trafficking, even Kidnapping ,for if members of the crew were forced at gun point to do things they did wantto, then,it is kidnapping. We expect, the real Esocbar this time around is brought behind Abrs, not in hiding like PP has already put LUCAS in to hiding.

After seeing waht this one-aprty state has done to our country and still doing,we will need to get them out.We would need to do that Before soon, and we must amke sure PP can never control Oil REVENUES,for if we allow that PP will ahve the wealth to grab to power for eternity, and since oil companies illegal favoured oil contracts by PP through Corruption,as in Africa they will do anything to prop up and keep the regime that favoured them in to power. They would work with PP on all front to keep the status quo.including eliminating jouranlists, oppostion leaders etc.. in a wortd all those who will expose their illegal deals, corruption ,environmental destructions .......

When will the Windmill start turning?

Anonymous said...

Its hould be turning now in windy wether, but probably wind is too strng that it must be switch off.Windmills do not operate and cannot operate under all weather conditions else it will break down. And if it is not turning now and in the next two coming months left before windy seasons are over ,it will stay unturn for the next 8 months until maybe the next windy season.

And by then,we will have those ugly, noisely, useless, and will be the eyesore ,standing there and destryoing the natural beauty of our Land ,which also affect our tourism industry.

And other desadvantage ofwindmill compare to SOLAR ENERGY ,for instance, should there be a break down many houses would be affected ,like when there is break down or shortage of traditional energy supply .On the contary.SOLAR PANNELs of indivudals' houses would avoid ,and solve this problem, for should there be a technical problem it would affect only the house in question not others,in time of bad weather the same things, and of course slaor Pannel allow each individual houses to be provided with hot waters. And not to forget we have sun shine all year round without interception.

Time for PP to go.DEGAGE PP!
