James Michel's Is Also Responsible For The Death's Toll Of Infants At The Main Hospital alongside Minister Athanasius!!

A KERNEL OF CORRUPTION

I arrived in Seychelles (to attend a global counter-piracy conference) without my yellow-colored yellow fever card. I haven’t been asked for that in fifteen years. Authorities at the airport rounded up those besides me who also didn’t have theirs and made us all stand to the side like delinquent school children. Eventually, we were given a written order to get a yellow fever shot at the hospital in Victoria, the capital of the Seychelles. We had just twenty-four hours to do so.

The next day I dutifully arrived at the hospital for my jab. The place was practically empty save for a secretary at her desk on the cell phone. I told her I was there for my yellow fever shot. She gave me a piece of paper and sent me to the admin section of hospital – a lovely British Colonial building – to pay 100 Seychelloise rupees ($12) for the shot. I went back to the hospital and gave my receipt to the secretary. She took it, thanked me, and returned to her phone conversation.

“Aren’t I supposed to get a vaccination for yellow fever?”, I asked.

“No, you just go.”

So, not only does the hospital collect money, they save themselves the cost of having to pay for and administer the vaccine.

The NY DA’s office doesn’t work much differently — they cannot be bothered with the time and expense of a trial; instead they offer criminals a minimum prison sentence and at same time look good
with another conviction under their belt. NEXT!

No worries, Ramadoss' hospital project in Victoria has been sold to a South African investor, ref an article in the Indian Ocean Newsletter this week. The project was as we know a joint venture between Ramado$$ and Emerald Holdings owned by no other than Sarah Rene and Gregoire Payet.

If the project is re-initiated, it'll be a good place to outsource medical treatment. Let's hope that Emerald Holding and that fat slob Ramadoss lost a lot of stolen money in it.

Is it not commendable that individuals invest money in a private hospital irrespective of who they are? At least the money is in the country and not sent overseas to enrich the Swiss or Jersey inhabitants? I do not care for Ramados or Sarah Rene but they at least sunk their money in Sesychelles, can't say the same thing for many loud mouths who just criticise from afar and near!

En Vre Seselwa, you have raised a very good point indeed.Unfortunately, the system in Seychelles will not look favourably on Seselwa investors who do not openly support SPPF. There are a lot of capable Seselwa, however our 'bancal' system will favour foreign investors. Foreign investors are the ones bleeding Seychelles. They are the ones stashing their Swiss & Jersey accounts !

I share all your points above and would like to add that for patriots who would like to invest in Seychelles, the risk of it all seems simply too great to take. In the past we've seen many white elephant projects and the famous hospital is one of them.

Now the building, half complete, is already taken over by shrubbery and will most likely have to be re-built. One would think that the only one benefitting from the project was the supplier of concrete products.

Another such project was the famous South Mahe-Victoria railway that some bought shares in and has now gone all mute. Mind you, many of these projects seem to be nothing more than white-washing operations.

There's no need for anyone to launder their rupees by undertaking projects, now that banks will readily convert rupees for transfer abroad.

I don't think the author was refering to the laundering of SR mate. For instance, the nice Ukranian who's been building a hotel at NE Point the last 15 years is hardly trying to do so to hide his SR. Oh yes, and the jewish guy building somewhere in Glacis, now abandoned leaving a scar on the coastline. I doubt he was laundering SR.
